🤨 Which mount should I choose?
2.75" size - The Command Strip mount will likely be able to securely hold any plant that will fit it in it. The Command Strip will stick to most smooth surfaces including painted walls, finished wood, laminate, glass, metal and tiles. If you're mounting to a textured surface or are worried about the weight of the planter you plan to use, we recommend the screw mount.
4.5" size - The Command Strip mounting option for this size uses two Command Strips, and is recommended for lighter weight plants that are kept in their nursery pots. If you plan on planting directly inside this size (ie. filling with soil), we recommend the screw mount as it can hold more weight. Again, If you're mounting to a textured surface or are worried about the weight of the planter you plan to use, we recommend the screw mount.
🔨 Installation:
There are two ways you can choose to mount your planter and each option only takes a minute or two.
OPTION 1 - Command Strip Mount: Attach the included 3M Command strip to the wall, attach the sliding dovetail mount, and slide your planter onto the mounting plate.
OPTION 2 - Screw Mount: The mounting plate is secured to the wall using two screws and anchors (included!), then simply slide your planter onto the mounting plate.
💧 How to water:
To water your plant, we recommend sliding the planter off of the wall, removing the twist-off drip tray, and watering in the sink, then putting the drip tray back on. This way, water drains straight out of the drainage holes while you water and the drip tray which catch any residual drips when you put it back on the wall.
